As Director of Transaction Structuring, Ron is responsible for expanding LEGACY’s current footprint across ERCOT and U.S. markets. Ron brings a deep appreciation for helping clients develop simple, clear and transparent means for understanding the way power is priced. He provides clients advanced energy pricing strategies and innovative applications for the purchasing and monitoring of energy, so LEGACY clients capture as much value as possible for their business.

His experience includes managing NYMEX and Heat Rate demand curves and analyzing those curves against a client’s appetite and suitability for risk. In his more than 35 years of industry experience, Ron has assembled a broad background in power price management, risk management and analysis, pipeline logistics and energy efficiency programming.

As an expert in price curve modeling and structuring, Ron frequently serves as an expert resource in the industry and to provide commentary for media outlets both regionally and nationally. He is a much requested speaker in his area of expertise and most recently has presented to forums including the Houston Chronicle and Energy Risk magazine.

Additionally, Ron is an active member of the community. He currently serves on the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Parade committee (lifetime member) and is a member of the Emory University Alumni Association. He received an Associate of Business Administration degree from Emory University.
